Neo Network is the digital entertainment company of Magnolia Group, a recognized leader int he production of television and digital entertainment content.

Challenge

Develop a client desktop application to let TimCafè community user send messages and open multi-user chat and videochat.

Project

The project is based on the development of an application that allows multivideo transmission between users chatting with a webcam.

The two majore comunication tools are:

• Instant Messager
• Chat room

Technology solution

The videochat desktop client for Windows Xp/Vista and Mac OS X has been developed using Flash/Flex/AIR technology.
The videochat and data puch server has been developed using Red5 technology and integrated with the existing Neo Network backend using Spring Remoting technology.
