Genialloyd is an Allianz Group company in charge of direct selling car, motorbike, house, travel and injury insurance products.
All products are internet and call center based.
Challenge
The Genialloyd web site is renewing.
At the beginning of 2009, the new web site design was completed and the main point was to have a web infrastructure that allow to easily update and create content:Genialloyd needs a modern CMS fully integrated with the existing backend.
The project
The new Genialloyd web site is completely managed by using CMS Magnolia.
OpenMind designed and implemented the frontend technical architecture ntegrated with the Genialloyd backend.
One of the most important result is that Genialloyd marketing team is now the only one in charge of the contents management in respect on the marketing and communication, and the IT team is not involed in this task anymore.
Following the success of the new italian web site, Genialloyd decided to extend this solution to every sites of the Genialloyd company.
Technology solution
The old Genialloys sites was based on J2EE architecture managed by Struts framework. OpenMind developed a new CMS Magnolia module, released as opensource module, to fully integrate every single business components of Genialloys as new content modules of the CMS Magnolia, easy to manage by the marketing team.
